Does motherhood ever stress you out?
We want our children to be okay, to make wise decisions, to be healthy, to choose the right friends, and to follow after God with their whole heart. But if you are anything like me, sometimes I end up parenting from my position of fear of the unknown instead of parenting from the faith in my Almighty Father who knows all.
That’s why PRAYER is vital to how we parent our children.Prayer is our way of stepping away from fear so we can walk in faith. We rely less on our understanding and more on our omnipotent God to lead, guide and intervene on behalf of our children.
Prayer is one of the most important parental responsibilities we have in the lives of our children.
Although I have always prayed for our fellas, I found myself drawn to focus on using scripture to pray directly over them. I invested in reading the Word to guide me.
These scriptures aid me when stress starts to take over my heart and become springboards for more intimate prayer led by the Holy Spirit.
When I pray scripture over my children, I insert their names into the prayer. I want the scriptures to be personal.
Now there are numerous scriptures to pray for our children, but I thought I would share with you a few I like to pray.
